When shopping for the best intraoral camera for your practice, the number of options on the market can be overwhelming. Popular intraoral cameras can range widely in price and functionality. But how do you know which one is the right one for you?

Aaron DeForest, DDS, Founder of DentalTechup, reviewed the SOTA Imaging Claris i5HD as part of his video review series of dental products, highlighting the camera’s “crisp, clear images” and integration with SOTA Image software.
The goal of DentalTechup is to help dentists make their own decisions when buying dental products and software. While SOTA Imaging sent DentalTechup our products for review, Dr DeForest did not receive any form of sponsorship for his review.
Dentists who own their practice and have bought or financed equipment this year are eligible for big savings through the IRS Section 179 tax deduction.
“Essentially, Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year,” according to section179.org. “That means that if you buy (or lease) a piece of qualifying equipment, you can deduct the FULL PURCHASE PRICE from your gross income. It’s an incentive created by the U.S. government to encourage businesses to buy equipment and invest in themselves.”
SOTA Imaging will be attending the Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), December 1st - 4th, where the company is running a limited-time-offer bundle promo.
For the end of 2019, SOTA Imaging is offering our lowest price ever on our digital x-ray sensors + intraoral camera bundle. This promotion includes any two Clio Digital X-Ray sensors and a Claris i5HD Intraoral Camera for nearly half the price. It’s one more step SOTA Imaging is taking to make the process of running a dental practice more accessible for our customers.
